Partnership Facilitates the usage of Sustainable Aviation Fuel with volunt.aero, a web-based service developed in collaboration with the Aero Club of Switzerland.
Azzera, a pioneer in sustainability solutions for the aviation industry, has forged a strategic partnership with volunt.aero, championing a new era of sustainability in light aviation & air sports. The newly formed alliance is set to introduce sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) via book and claim to reduce emissions from piston-powered aircraft. This SAF solution is enabled through the web-platform volunt.aero.

The volunt.aero initiative traces its origins to the ambitious Diamondo Earthrounding project, where Matthias Niederhäuser circumnavigated the globe together with Robin Wenger with their conscious effort to minimize their environmental impact. This spirit of adventure and care for the planet, lives on through the web-based service volunt.aero, established by Matthias Niederhäuser, and run by Niederhäuser Solutions GmbH. The service, made possible by the support of the Aero Club of Switzerland (AeCS), simplifies the calculation of flight emissions based on aircraft fuel consumption. In addition, through the integration of volunt.aero in the digital flight log capzlog.aero, the underlying fuel consumption can be calculated even quicker for pilots using this digital flight log.

The calculated emissions serve as a basis for making a voluntary but effective contribution to climate protection and are integrated into the digital flight log catalogue.aero for even easier use.
